Below: 1860 Foundation stone, Primitive Methodist Jubilee Chapel. This plaque was found in Russel Place’s yard. We think that it belonged to the original chapel built in Chapel Street.

Below: The white building opposite St. Paul’s Church gave the name to Chapel Street. We believe that originally it was a Primitive Methodist Chapel. Later, it was occupied by the Salvation Army and the Pentecostals.
