We came across this headstone, with no name for the child who died.  Aline found her name which was Mildred.  She lived at 10 The Oaks with her parents, Joseph and Isabel Kirby.

What a waste of a life, it just goes to show how lucky we are these days.  She died of tonsillitis – thank goodness for antibiotics.
